Move back the NLL Trade Deadline

Well another NLL trade deadline has come and gone and it was underwhelming to say the least.

It’s probably time for the league to consider pushing back the trade deadline to the first or second Monday in April.

This would allow for the contenders to separate themselves from the pretenders, and in theory allow for more buying and selling.

NLL Trade Deadline Deals

Mammoth receive

RD Garrett McIntosh

Desert Dogs receive

2025 second round pick conditional

Rush receive

RF Rhys Duch

Mammoth receive

In exchange, the Rush sent the Mammoth a third-round pick in 2023, which would become a second-round pick if Saskatchewan makes the playoffs.

Quick Stick

Really thought the Rush would be sellers and start moving out vets for youth and or picks.,  Only to see the Rush do the complete opposite.

Wings receive

RD Liam Byrnes

Panther City receives

2023 second pick via Albany

Quick stick

Philly gets some help for the backend. Byrnes is a solid and underrated  right handed defensemen and everyone knows the Philly D needs help.

NLL Trade Deadline 3PM ET

Well the NLL trade deadline day is final here.

Few thoughts as we wait.

  • Wet Division

Will the Rush be sellers and to who?

Will PCLC be looking to add talent to its roster and look to take the next step?

Is Vancouver ready to sell more pieces off for picks?

  • East Division

Will Buffalo and Toronto look to add talent to already stacked clubs?

Does Philly look to add some help on the back end or did Philly shoots it load with the Mitch Jones trade?

Will Albany and Georgia be sellers? ( At least they should be)
