The Hawks looked like a playoff contender for the first thirty minutes, then reality set in and the Rock rounded into form.

The Hawks led the Rock 7-5 entering the locker room at halftime and only managed two goals over the last thirty minutes as Nick Rose and the Rock defense clamped down.

Seven different Rock players scored at least one goal and Nick Rose made 41 saves in between the pipes for the Rock.

The Rock improve to 11-5 and the Hawks fall to 3-12.

Why did the Rush wait so long to make a coaching change?

With Derek Keenan back behind the bench, the Rush looked like the Rush of yester year, for one night anyway.

Philly found a way to stay alive in the playoff race for another week.

Trailing 6-2 after fifteen minutes. Philly’s offense came alive in the second quarter out scoring the Seals 6-1 and took an 8-7 lead into the locker room at halftime.

Zach Higgins and the Wings defense clamped down on the Seals offense. Holding the Seals offense to just two goals over the course of the second and third quarter. Before the Seals four goal fourth quarter pushed the game into overtime.

Where the Wings Ben McIntosh scored the game winner for Philly 31 seconds into overtime.

Ben McIntosh led the Philly attack scoring four goals and adding one assist. Matt Rambo returned to the Philly lineup and netted two goals and added four  assists.

Zach Higgins made 43 saves in between the pipes for Philly.

Philly improves to 8-8 and San Diego falls to 9-5.

The short handed Wings rebounded from their spanking at the hands of the Bandits on Thursday, and jumped on the Riptide  early and often to stay alive in the playoff race for another week.

Philly led the Riptide 5-2 after one quarter and Zach Higgins and the Wings defense did the rest.

Kevin Crowley led the Wings attack scoring three goals and added four assists and Zach Higgins made 43 saves.

Zach Higgins and the Wings defense held Riptide forwards Jeff Teat, and Callum Crawford, to one goal and and four assists on a combined 18 shots.

They must of counted the Philly fans in attendance four times to get to the 4,669 reported attendance number.
