What do you see for the future of the league?

The indoor league is thriving and growing. I would expect to see this league grow in the very near future [from 13] to 30 teams. For the Swarm, the goal is to show the growth of lacrosse and how it can be successful in the South. When that is successful, I think we’ll see more teams, where we can build some cool rivals down the street.

The NLL will suffer greatly both on the floor and off the floor with 30 teams. Heck the league is suffering with eleven teams already.

Shawn Tilger steps down

Long time Flyers executive and Wings governor Shawn Tilger has stepped down from his various roles at Comcast – Spectacor.  Tilger’s days were numbered once Comcast-Spectacor hired former Washington Nationals executive Valerie Camillo to head up the Business Operations for the Wells Fargo Center.
