Length – Three years starting with 2022-2023 season.
Salary Cap – $530,000 and higher luxury tax fresh hold
Old Cap $431,600 + luxury cap
Free agency
Players eligible for free agency after eight years of service or 30 years old. Which ever comes first.
Players can reject franchise designation at 33 years old. Age goes by calendar year.
Franchise Tag salary is $50,000 starting next year.
Qualifying offers for Restricted Free Agents now require an six percent increase over previous year salary.
RFA status is obtained at 23 games played over a minimum of 3 different seasons.

Miss work pay remains the same.
Active Rosters – 21
Per NLL rules, each team is allowed to have 21 players listed on the active roster and a maximum of four players on the practice roster.
Teams will continue to dress 17 runners and two goalies.
Injured Reserve – The league no longer has first level and second level injured reserve. The league uses injured reserve and season ending injured reserve. Player on injured reserve must miss at least one game and be on injured reserve for at least four days.
The League’s awarding of a compensatory draft selection(s) for losing an Unrestricted Free Agent is authorized by Section 7.2(D) of the Collective Bargaining Agreement:
- Compensatory Draft Selections. Any Club that loses an Unrestricted Free Agent shall be eligible to receive a compensatory draft selection(s) that will be issued by the League in a formula to be determined solely by the League.
League by-laws changed to allow games on the following days Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday.
