Rock annnounce a series of roster moves ahead of Albany game

Toronto Rock Owner, President, and GM Jamie Dawick today announced several roster moves heading into this weekend’s game at Albany including Captain Challen Rogers being placed on the Active Roster.

The Rock’s two-way star has been out since suffering an upper body injury on February 16 in the Rock’s win over New York in Montreal, QC as part of the NLL’s UnBOXed Series.  Rogers has missed six games in total, but today’s roster moves makes him eligible to make his return on Saturday night against the Albany FireWolves.

Along with the Rogers move, the Rock made a series of transactions over the last 24 hours.

Toronto signed free agent forward Reid Reinholdt to a one-year agreement and placed him on the Hold Out List.  This will be Reinholdt’s second tour of duty with the Rock after playing the last two seasons with the Las Vegas Desert Dogs but was released on March 13.  Reinholdt and his wife Meg recently celebrated the birth of their first child.

Moving to the Injured Reserve List is defender Brandon Slade with a lower body injury.  Tyler Hendrycks was released from the Physically Unable to Perform List and was signed to the Practice Roster and the Rock have designated Hendrycks as their Protected Practice Roster player.  Rounding out the roster moves; Cam Milligan was released from the Practice Roster.
