The Thunderbirds led 6-5 coming out of the locker room after halftime and went on a five goal run to open the third quarter and take a 11-5 lead.
Philly chipped away at the Thunderbirds lead eventually taking a 14-13 lead on a goal by Blaze Riorden. Only to watch helplessly as Ryan Benesch scored with 1:22 remaining to tie the game at 14-14 and Cody Jamieson to put the dagger into the Wings with 14:39 remaining in OT.
Ben McIntosh scored three goals and added two assists and Joe Resetarits scored two goals and added two assists and Zach Higgins made 50 saves.

Philly simplified the defense, but Higgins was once again subject to a shooting gallery and Philly struggled to pick up loose balls and got dominated at the X going 7 for 33 at the X
Halifax improves to 4-3 and Philadelphia falls to 2-5
