The T-Birds are in mid season form and the Rush are not.
The Thunderbirds opened the game on a four goal run and led 9-4 after one quarter and 11-5 at halftime and that was game set match.
Clarke Peterson stepped up and scored five goals and added three assists to lead the Thunderbirds. Eight different Thunderbirds found the back of the net tonight against the Rush.
Zach Mann was the lone bright spot for the Rush scoring three goals and dishing out three assists.
Frank Scigliano is probably wishing he was back in San Diego.
Thunderbirds improve to 1-0 and the Rush fall to 0-1.
