Panther City names Jordan Cornfield director of player personnel

Jordan Cornfield named director of player personnel for Panther City Lacrosse Club. Cornfield’s responsibilities will include leading the scouting department and working with the coaching staff.

If the name sounds familiar that is because Cornfield spent a few years bouncing around the league with Colorado and Edmonton.

NLL announces 20 nominees for 2021 Hall of Fame Class

Now if only the NLL would announce who is voting.  Besides the BOG obviously.

The nominees are broken down into three categories Forwards, Defensemen, and Builders.

In the forward category we have the following nominees

  • Mike Accursi
  • Jake Bergey
  • Colin Doyle
  • Kevin Finneran
  • John Grant Jr
  • Casey Powell
  • Mark Steenhuis
  • Shawn Williams

Got to figure Doyle and and Grant are shoo-ins.

In the defensemen category we have the following nominees

  • Sandy Chapman
  • Glenn Clark
  • Ryan Cousins
  • Pat McCready
  • Billy Dee Smith
  • Steve Toll
  • Brian Voelker
  • Cam Woods

Out of the defensemen Voelker, Toll, and too close to call between Chapman, Clark and Smith.

In the builders category we have the following nominees

  • Roy Condon – Oh hell no. ( I’m blind, I’m deaf, I want to be a ref )
  • Bill Fox
  • Rich Tamberino
