Another tv deal. With limited distribution. Plus tape delayed games. Typical NLL move.

The National Lacrosse League has announced that Universal Sports Network will broadcast seven NLL games over the remainder of the 2014 regular season. Universal Sports will showcase an NLL “Game of the Week” every Thursday from the previous week’s action beginning on Thursday, March 20 at 5 p.m. ET with the Colorado Mammoth at Buffalo Bandits game from Saturday, March 15.

“We are proud to be partnering with Universal Sports Network to showcase the NLL to even more fans,” said George Daniel, NLL Commissioner.

“Universal Sports Network recognizes the growth and popularity of lacrosse in the U.S.,” said Robert James, Universal Sports’ Senior Vice President of Content and Communications. “Our new partnership with the NLL will tap into their incredible fan base and bring the sport to a wider audience.”

The NLL broadcast schedule on Universal Sports Network is as follows:

Colorado Mammoth at Buffalo Bandits
Thursday, March 20 at 5 p.m. ET

Toronto Rock at Philadelphia Wings
Thursday, March 27 at 4 p.m. ET

Buffalo Bandits at Vancouver Stealth
Thursday, April 3 at 5 p.m. ET

Rochester Knighthawks at Minnesota Swarm
Thursday, April 10 at 5 p.m. ET

Buffalo Bandits at Minnesota Swarm
Thursday, April 17 at 5 p.m. ET

Philadelphia Wings at Vancouver Stealth
Thursday, April 24 at 5 p.m. ET

Colorado Mammoth at Philadelphia Wings
Thursday, May 1 at 5 p.m. ET

These seven NLL games air on delay on Universal Sports Network (schedule subject to change).
